Fotis Mellios has created a café at the harbour of Aghios Dimitris-Boukadoura in Naoussa, Paros, which also functions as an art space and is now on its forth consecutive year of cooperation with the Medusa Art Gallery.
After last year’s successful exhibition of Anton and Maria Grigoriadi on Saturday, June 21, 2008 at 9 pm Maria Demetriades (Medusa Art Gallery, Athens) and Fotis Mellios (Fotis art café) will open the exhibition of works by Miltos Michailidis
Miltos Michailidis in his last work with the general title “Notes for an island” with five new works (mixed media on paper) and one installation hanged in the bar of and information from books, travel guides and internet. A description of a trip never done by the artist itself.
A thought about how the individual of today accumulates facts and takes conclusions regarding the word that surrounds him.
